Our 4-H’ers repped our county very well in Garden City yesterday. There were 15 students that competed yesterday at the District 6 Food Spectacular.
Results are in;
Project Leader Paige Skehan had the following students represented in the Food Spectacular;
Juniors: Kaedyn Epperson placed 2nd in Healthy Dessert
Stanton Skehan placed 1st in Side Dish
Talullah Downs placed 1st in Main Dish
Tiana Lopez
Allie Skehan placed 3rd in Main Dish
Senior: Kinleigh Epperson
Project Leader Kendra Epperson had 4 Food Challenge Teams represented in the Food Challenge Competition. These 4 teams will be competing in the San Angelo Livestock Show Food Challenge Competitive Events on January 22, 2025.
In the Junior Division were the” Whisk Warriors”. This group experienced competition for their first time. They placed 3rd.

There were two teams in the Intermediate Category:
“Saucy Sheriffs” placed 2nd in their division

“Pasta Pirates” team members are Baylor Brown, Tallulah Downs, Piper Hamlin, & Stanton Skehan
Senior Division were represented by the “Flavor Fusion”. Team members are Kinleigh Epperson, Emma Gomez, & Morgan Hamlin
