Our JH rocked it at the district meet! Our girls placed 1st as a team, and our boys placed 2nd as a team. Individually, Jordan Ward got 2nd place for the girls, Kyina Gee got 6th place, and Morgan Hamlin got 7th place. For the our boys, Logan White got 4th, Kayin Hannah got 5th, and Noah Ancira got 9th place. We are so proud of how hard these kids worked the past couple of months, and how much they showed out today!

Mrs. Kimbrough's Microbiology cultivated samples from around our high school building last week. Today they did a series of experiments to determine the types of bacteria found. They did an excellent job gram staining and conducting the catalase test. P.S. Barbie has started base jumping again from the second floor during Physics. So far, the best time is 3.2 seconds. The goal is a minimum of 7 seconds.

Each student enrolled in daycare through 5th grade will have a personalized book bag to pick up on Literacy Night. It is full of fun swag for the kids, as well as a reading at home kit with tips and tricks for parents to help with reading at home.
