Over the Thanksgiving Break our very own Valerie Gaddis represented Rankin in the Varsity Spirit Thanksgiving Tour at Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida. She was among many cheerleaders from across the country who were chosen as All-Americans during summer camps hosted by Varsity Spirit.
We are proud to have had Valerie represent Rankin at the Thanksgiving Tour.

Red Devil JV/Varsity Basketball games in El Dorado are scheduled for tomorrow January 4th beginning at 4 pm.
Due to icy road conditions the Red Devils and Lady Devils Basketball Games scheduled for tomorrow January 2nd have been canceled.
Boy’s Basketball games scheduled on New Year’s Day have been rescheduled to Saturday, Jan. 2nd. JV at 1 at back gym-V 2:30 in the main gym in ElDorado.
Girls Varsity Game in Van Horn scheduled on New Year’s Day has been rescheduled to Saturday, January 2 at 2:30pm in Van Horn. Boys game info still pending.

Good afternoon Red Devils!
Due to the increase in positive cases that has recently impacted our school, the Upton County Health Advisory Committee met to recommend what is best for the district from a clinical standpoint. The decision was unanimous and had heavy input from health officials. In the end, the plan was developed in an attempt to limit the burden on parents and students while protecting them at the same time. The plan is as follows:
The last day of instruction at Rankin ISD will be today. Students will return to school as normal on Tuesday, January 5th.
Remote instruction and/or packets will not occur for the remainder of the semester.
The completion of the semester will be pushed back so students can complete their work in the same time frame.
Health officials and Rankin ISD encourage everyone to continue to wear their masks over the break and to take every health precaution possible to help limit the spread of COVID-19.
We wish everyone well over the Christmas break and look forward to seeing our students in January.
